Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Before Work Begins
You may cancel a project before work begins at any time.
If you have already made an advance payment but we have not started any work, we will refund the advance payment, except for any non-refundable costs already paid on your behalf, such as domain registration, hosting, stock assets, or third-party tool fees.
After Work Begins
If you cancel a project after work has begun, the advance payment may be retained to cover the work already completed.
Work already completed may include, but is not limited to:
- Initial consultation and planning
- Research and content structure
- Design concepts or drafts
- Website layout and page setup
- Content placement
- Revisions already made
- Communication and project management time
We will inform you of the amount retained and, if applicable, the amount eligible for refund.
Non-Refundable Payments
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Work already completed
- Design concepts or drafts already delivered
- Revisions already made
- Third-party costs paid on your behalf, such as domain registration, hosting, premium templates, stock images, plugins, or software subscriptions
- Services explicitly marked as non-refundable in the quote or invoice
Project Delays Caused by the Client
If a project is delayed because the client does not provide content, images, feedback, approvals, domain access, or other required materials:
- We may pause the project after reasonable attempts to contact you
- The agreed timeline will no longer apply
- If the project remains paused for more than 30 days, we may consider the project cancelled
- In that case, payments made for work already completed will not be refunded
Changes or Cancellation by Ukalo Web
We may cancel or pause a project if:
- The client provides unlawful, misleading, infringing, or inappropriate content
- The client requests services outside our scope and refuses a suitable alternative
- The client behaves abusively, threatens, harasses, or repeatedly fails to cooperate
- Payment is not made as agreed
If we cancel a project for a reason not caused by the client, we will refund the portion of payment relating to work not yet completed.
