About Our Services

Ukalo Web is a web design studio based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We create simple, clean, mobile-friendly websites for local businesses using professional no-code tools, including Google Sites.

Our current services may include:

• Basic business websites
• Website redesigns
• Landing pages
• Google Business Profile setup assistance

We focus on clean, simple websites. Advanced SEO, custom development, complex e-commerce, booking systems, and paid advertising are outside our current services.

Quotes and Pricing

Prices shown on our website are starting prices and may change based on the number of pages, content, features, revisions, and project complexity.

Before work begins, we will provide a clear written quote or proposal outlining:

• The services included
• The estimated timeline
• The price or starting price
• The number of revisions included
• Any exclusions

The final price and scope will be confirmed before the project begins.

Client Responsibilities

To keep projects affordable and delivered on time, clients should provide:

• Business name and contact details
• Logo, if available
• Website text/content
• Photos or images
• Social media links
• Domain access, if a custom domain is required
• Feedback within the agreed revision period

The client confirms that all content, images, logos, videos, trademarks, and other materials provided to us are owned by the client or properly licensed for use.

Delays in providing content, feedback, approvals, or domain access may affect the project timeline.

Intellectual Property

The client retains ownership of content, branding, logos, images, and business information provided to Ukalo Web.

Once final payment is received, ownership of the client’s website content and final website design deliverables will be transferred to the client, except for third-party tools, templates, licenses, platform features, or stock assets that remain governed by their own terms.

Ukalo Web retains ownership of its brand name, logo, website copy, sample designs, templates, processes, and internal working materials.

Ukalo Web may display completed client projects in its portfolio, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Revisions

Each package or quote will clearly state the number of revisions included.

A revision means reasonable changes to text, images, layout, colors, or sections within the agreed scope.

Major new features, additional pages, redesigns, or requests outside the original scope may require an additional quote.

Payment Terms

Payment details, including advance payment, milestones, and final payment, will be clearly stated in the quote or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Work begins after the agreed advance payment is received
• The final website may be published or handed over after final payment is received
• Additional services or out-of-scope work may require separate payment

Timelines

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Timelines may change due to:

• Delays in receiving content or feedback
• Revision requests
• Domain or hosting issues
• Third-party platform issues
• Public holidays, exams, or other unavoidable circumstances

We will communicate any expected delay as soon as reasonably possible.

Availability

Ukalo Web is a student-run studio. Our usual availability is:

• Monday to Friday
• After 6:00 PM Nepal Time

You can email us or message us on Instagram at any time. We usually reply within 24 hours during our working hours. Messages sent outside working hours will be answered on the next working day.

Website Content and Legal Compliance

The client is solely responsible for ensuring that all content published on their website:

• Is accurate and lawful
• Does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, defamation, consumer protection, or other applicable laws
• Does not contain unlawful, misleading, hateful, obscene, or harmful material
• Has necessary permissions for photos, music, videos, testimonials, and other third-party content

Ukalo Web is not responsible for legal issues arising from content provided or approved by the client.

No Guarantee of Results

We design websites to look professional, work well on mobile devices, and make it easy for customers to contact a business.

We do not guarantee:

• Increased sales, bookings, or enquiries
• Specific search-engine rankings
• Traffic or leads
• That third-party platforms will always function without interruption

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nepali law, Ukalo Web is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or data loss.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Third-Party Services

Websites may use third-party services such as Google Sites, Google Maps, Google Forms, analytics tools, domain registrars, hosting providers, or social media platforms.

We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, policies, outages, security practices, or changes made by third-party services.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. If anything in these Terms differs from that policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nepal.
